Amanda Heiser fell in love with writing in the eighth grade, when her long suffering English teacher encouraged her beginning poetry efforts.

As an adult, she's begun to take that love more seriously. This website is the product of that passion.

Brad Carl

Brad Carl is a former radio personality who still earns part of his living doing voiceover work. While not necessarily a lover of words – especially not big ones – Brad has always been fond of telling a story.

Craft Beer Burning, a fictitious look at business, beer, and friendship, is Carl's latest novel.

Besides writing books and producing voice work, Brad is also a successful businessman in the textile and packaging industry. He currently resides in Kansas City, MO with his wife, Kristi, and daughter, Presley. The family also has a dog (Ali).

Jan Maher's novel Earth As It Is is published by Indiana University Break Away Books. Other writing credits include a novel, Heaven, Indiana; plays Ismene, Intruders, and Widow's Walk; and Most Dangerous Women: Bringing History to Life through Readers’ Theater. She holds a PhD from The Union Institute and University in Interdisciplinary Studies and is a senior scholar at the Institute for Ethics in Public Life, State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
